ProActive - Antipa ramps up exploration at Minyari with 35,000-metre CY2025 drilling campaign

By Ephrem Joseph

Antipa Minerals Ltd has launched a major drilling campaign at its wholly owned and newly reconsolidated Minyari Project in Western Australia’s Paterson Province, targeting both resource expansion and new discoveries.

Notably, the three-rig program targets the expansion of a 2.3 Moz gold resource and greenfield exploration across the Paterson Province.

“We are excited to have boots on the ground and rigs spinning at multiple sites across our significant tenement package, which marks the beginning of our CY2025 exploration drilling campaign," Antipa’s managing director, Roger Mason, said.

35,000-metre, multi-rig program fully funded

The CY2025 Phase 1 program comprises 389 drill holes totalling 35,000 metres, including reverse circulation (RC), diamond core and air core drilling.

The three-month campaign is fully funded through Antipa’s existing cash reserves, with assay results to be reported progressively.

"Our team has developed a technically robust, strategically focused programme, designed to maximise impact by growing our existing Mineral Resource endowment while at the same time delivering greenfield success from our highest-priority gold target and prospect areas," Mason added.

"We are confident this campaign will add value through the drill bit and further reinforce Antipa’s position as a major player in the future of the Paterson Province.”

Minyari Dome: Targeting near-surface resource growth

At Minyari Dome, Antipa aims to expand its 2.3 million ounce gold resource, which includes 1.7 million ounces in the Indicated category at 1.6 grams per tonne.

The deposit growth component includes 57 RC holes (13,000 metres) and four diamond holes (1,500 metres), focused on extending known zones at Minyari South, GEO-01, Main Zone, Minella, Fiama and Central.

Greenfield exploration across high-priority targets

The broader program includes 328 holes for 20,400 metres, designed to test large-scale greenfield prospects across the 4,060 square kilometre tenure.

Key targets include Parklands, GEO-01 and Rizzo extensions, PP GRAV-02, AL01, RPS Trend, and PA-5—ranging from 1 to 6 kilometres in scale.

The Minyari Project covers over 4,060 square kilometres and hosts total 100%-owned Mineral Resources of 2.42 million ounces (Moz) of gold, 84,000 tonnes (t) of copper, and 661 thousand ounces (koz) of silver.

The project is situated in a region home to Greatland Gold's Telfer mine and 22 Mtpa processing facility, as well as recent large gold-copper discoveries including Rio Tinto-Sumitomo’s Winu and Greatland’s Havieron.
