ProActive Investors - Antipa Minerals reports bonanza gold hits at Minyari’s Fiama prospect

By Jonathan Jackson

Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX: AZY) has delivered outstanding new results from its Minyari Gold-Copper Project in the Paterson Province, Western Australia. Assays from the third batch of its 2025 program have returned bonanza-grade intersections at Fiama, including 33 metres at 15.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.28% copper from 96 metres, with a 1 metre interval grading 395 g/t gold. Additional highlights include 23 metres at 7.1 g/t gold and new discoveries at Rizzo, while step-out drilling continues to extend the mineralised footprint.

Phase 1 drilling is now complete with 36,059 metres drilled, while Phase 2 is underway targeting up to 35,000 metres.
Pre-feasibility study (PFS) drilling is also well advanced, with results expected in the second half of 2025. An updated mineral resource estimate is scheduled for October 2025, with the full PFS due in June 2026.

“These new outstanding intersections at Fiama are just another example of the exceptional high-grade potential within our Minyari Project. Fiama remains open in multiple directions, with many new holes delivering both outstanding grades and meaningful extensions to the mineralised footprint,” Antipa managing director Roger Mason said.

“Together with discovery success at Rizzo and the rapid progress of our PFS drilling, we are consistently adding value to our Minyari Gold-Copper Project.

“We firmly believe that the combination of increasing near-surface high-grade gold hits, a large pipeline of high-quality new-discovery targets and a clearly defined pathway to production positions Antipa as one of Australia’s most compelling gold investment opportunities.”

Fiama delivers bonanza intersections

Fiama continues to emerge as a standout high-grade discovery. The latest drilling extended mineralisation across 300 metres of strike and up to 120 metres across strike, with zones now defined to 315 vertical metres.

Notable intersections included:

  • 33m at 15.8 g/t gold and 0.28% copper from 96m, including 3m at 150 g/t gold and 1m at 395 g/t gold.
  • 23m at 7.1 g/t gold from 125m, including 1m at 97.5 g/t gold.
  • 22m at 1.0 g/t gold and 0.13% copper from 140m.
  • 51m at 0.5 g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 51m.

These results confirm multiple high-grade shoots remain open along strike and down dip. With bonanza zones of up to 520 gram-metres reported, Fiama represents a significant driver of future resource growth.

Minella extends mineralisation footprint

Located along Fiama’s fold hinge, Minella mineralisation has been extended between 100 and 240 vertical metres below surface and across 430 metres of strike. The system remains open to the west and east, with the potential to extend at least another 300 metres.

Seven RC holes completed as part of Phase 1 returned significant intersections, including:

  • 18m at 0.6 g/t gold and 0.09% copper from 162m.
  • 13m at 0.4 g/t gold from 210m.

These results add further confidence that Minella can contribute meaningful ounces to the Minyari Dome Mineral Resource.

Discovery success at Rizzo

Exploration at Rizzo has confirmed a large, shallow mineralised system extending over 800 by 700 metres, with mineralisation open in all directions.

A key intersection was 16m at 0.6 g/t gold from 52m, including 4m at 1.5 g/t gold, extending mineralisation 100 metres east along strike toward Fiama. The Rizzo-Fiama corridor, a folded dolerite and metasediment host package, is considered highly prospective with a strike length of up to 1 kilometre and across-strike width of 160 metres.

Phase 2 drilling will target this broader corridor, with heritage approvals now removing previous access constraints.

PFS drilling advances

Antipa continues to progress its PFS workstreams, with 92% of the resource definition drilling complete. Results so far include:

  • 35m at 0.7 g/t gold from 186m at GEO-01 Main Zone.
  • 79m at 0.5 g/t gold from 208m at WACA.
  • 50m at 0.6 g/t gold and 0.15% copper from 244m at Minyari NW.

Additional drilling intersected 7m at 3.3 g/t gold and 0.56% cobalt from 263m, highlighting the presence of valuable by-products.

Beyond resource drilling, geotechnical, hydrological and sterilisation work is advancing to de-risk the development opportunity.

Next steps

Antipa has begun its Phase 2 program, which will include up to 35,000 metres of drilling across Fiama, Rizzo and other regional targets. This program is designed to expand the existing 2.5 million-ounce gold resource and test multiple high-potential targets.

With outstanding Phase 1 results, a pipeline of discovery opportunities and a clear pathway to feasibility, Antipa remains well-positioned to advance Minyari Dome as a standalone gold-copper development in the Paterson Province.
