The Australian - Antipa Minerals flags bonanza-grade gold in broad results at Minyari Dome

By Special Report

  • AZY returns up to 33 metres at 15.8g/t gold from Minyari Dome in WA
  • Company eyeing updated MRE
  • PFS drilling almost complete with study slated for completion mid-2026

Special Report: Antipa Minerals has recorded bonanza gold grades up to 395g/t within broad intersections at the Fiama prospect, part of its Minyari Gold-Copper Project in WA.

The drilling at Fiama was part of the Company’s plan to expand the existing 2.4Moz Project resource, test greenfield targets for new discovery potential and advance Pre-feasibility Study (PFS) resource definition drilling.

Notable intersections included:

  • 33m at 15.8g/t gold and 0.28% copper from 96m, including:
  • 1m at 41.6g/t Au from 114m; and
  • 3m at 150.0g/t Au from 123m, also including:
  • 1m at 395.0g/t from 124m.
  • 23m at 7.1 g/t Au and 0.07% Cu from 125m, including:
  • 2m at 62.0g/t Au and 0.08% Cu from 128m, also including:
  • 1m at 97.5g/t Au and 0.09% Cu from 128m.

And Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) also reports a new discovery at Rizzo, confirming a large, shallow mineralised system, with notable significant growth potential.

Assays returned 16m at 0.6 g/t Au from 52m including 4m at 1.5 g/t from 56m.

PFS drilling almost complete

The Company says 92% of the PFS resource definition drilling is complete (16,517m of the planned 20,000m).

Results for 4,810m have been received and the remaining assays are expected in H2 2025.

In the meantime, phase 2 exploration is scheduled to begin consisting of 25,000–35,000m of aircore, RC and diamond core drilling, plus the completion of an outstanding phase 1 diamond core hole.

“These new outstanding intersections at Fiama are just another example of the exceptional high-grade potential within our Minyari Project,” MD Roger Mason said.

“Fiama remains open in multiple directions, with many new holes delivering both outstanding grades and meaningful extensions to the mineralised footprint.

“Together with discovery success at Rizzo and the rapid progress of our PFS drilling, we are consistently adding value to our Minyari Gold-Copper Project.”

The Company expects a positive PFS to be released in June 2026, based on the highly positive outcomes of the updated Scoping Study and highly favourable gold-copper market conditions.

“We firmly believe that the combination of increasing near-surface high-grade gold hits, a large pipeline of high-quality new-discovery targets and a clearly defined pathway to production positions Antipa as one of Australia’s most compelling gold investment opportunities,” Mason said.
