Proactive Investors - Antipa confirms new discoveries across Minyari project as RPS and depth targets return standout results
By Lisa Uhlman
Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX: AZY) has confirmed further discovery success across its 100%-owned Minyari Gold-Copper Project in WA’s Paterson Province, with the latest batch of assays highlighting shallow gold-copper zones at RPS, strong continuity at Fiama and high-grade intersections from deep drilling beneath the Minyari Dome Deposit.
The results — the seventh batch from the company’s CY2025 drilling program — arrive as Antipa prepares an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for release before year-end and advances multiple pre-feasibility study (PFS) workstreams.
Managing director Roger Mason said the new results “continue to demonstrate the scale and quality of our Minyari Development Project and further support the upcoming MRE update”, noting that deeper drilling at Minyari Dome “clipped the top of an exciting new target system, confirming that the area remains wide open at depth.”
Shallow gold-copper zones strengthen RPS as a discovery hub
One of the headline results comes from the Reaper–Poblano–Serrano (RPS) area, where drilling continues to define a broad gold-copper system beneath shallow cover.
The standout intercept — 32 metres at 1.5 g/t gold, 0.18% copper and 1.2 g/t silver from just 88 metres — sits within a thicker 88-metre interval grading 0.7 g/t gold and 0.09% copper (25EPC0036). Additional holes have returned multiple ore-grade intercepts across a 300-by-300-metre footprint at Poblano, with mineralisation at Serrano extended to 400 metres of strike.
Antipa says the geometry and metal signature at RPS point to reduced-intrusion gold-copper mineralisation with potential Havieron-style affinities, reinforcing the area as a maiden resource opportunity. Seven reverse circulation (RC) holes remain pending.
High-grade results at Fiama and depth extensions at Minyari Dome
At Fiama, step-out drilling delivered one of the program’s strongest intersections to date: 8 metres at 8.2 g/t gold and 0.99% copper within a 26-metre interval grading 2.9 g/t gold and 0.38% copper (25MYC0881). The results extend mineralisation down-dip and add support to continued resource growth across the broader Minyari Dome system.
Deep drilling beneath the Minyari Dome Deposit also returned narrow but high-grade hits more than 1.1 kilometres below surface. Hole 25MYD0540 intersected 0.3 metres at 6.9 g/t gold, 2.9% copper and 4.3 g/t silver from 1,234 metres, interpreted as clipping the upper edge of a newly defined high-impact target zone.
Growth drilling within the Minyari Dome deposits delivered multiple broad and high-grade intersections, including 44 metres at 2.3 g/t gold and 0.16% copper from 489 metres (25MYDG004), with internal zones grading up to 422 g/t gold and 13.4% copper over 0.13 metres.
Tim’s Dome expands to 3.5 kilometres of strike
Reconnaissance aircore drilling at Tim’s Dome has extended gold mineralisation to a 3.5-kilometre strike length, with new targets emerging on the eastern limb and mineralisation remaining open in all directions. Notable intersections include 4 metres at 1.3 g/t gold from 20 metres and several broad gold-copper intervals within shallow stratabound and breccia-style settings analogous to Telfer.
PFS and resource update on track
Sterilisation drilling for the PFS has also identified a new near-surface gold-copper zone west of Minyari, including 8 metres at 0.9 g/t gold and 0.31% copper from 4 metres.
With 50 holes still awaiting assays, Antipa remains on track to deliver its updated MRE in Q4 CY2025 and will provide a detailed PFS update later this month.
