The Australian - Antipa stretches the Fiama North gold-copper lode at Minyari

By Special Report

  • Fiama North extended to about 160m of strike and 200m below surface
  • Fresh results include 26m at 1.5g/t gold and 0.09% copper from 275m
  • Three rigs drilling across GEO-01 Main Zone, Tim’s Dome and AL01

The first batch of assay results from 2026 drilling has provided plenty of encouragement for Antipa Minerals by extending the Fiama North lode of the Minyari Gold-Copper Project in WA’s Paterson Province.

The assays covered 15 reverse circulation holes for 3,352m across the broader Fiama area, including 10 holes testing Fiama North.

Drilling has extended the recently identified lode to about 160m of strike and 200m below surface, with mineralisation remaining open in all directions.

Antipa Minerals (ASX: AZY) Managing Director Roger Mason said the early results showed strong potential within the broader Minyari Dome mineral system, suggesting scope for further resource growth.

“The CY2026 program is focused on extending known areas of mineralisation in parallel with testing a series of priority discovery opportunities across our 100%-owned Minyari Project, including the Tim’s Dome, AL01 and Mollie targets,” Mason said.

“We are now actively drilling at both Tim’s Dome and AL01, providing shareholders with multiple near-term exploration catalysts across a district-scale gold-copper project in one of Australia’s most strategically important mineral provinces.”

Extensive suite of drilling programs

Antipa’s Minyari project is host to a resource of 2.9Moz gold, 91,000t copper, 880,000oz silver and 13,000t cobalt.

The Company has completed 106 holes for 13,207m of its 2026 drilling program so far, reporting assays in batches as they become available.

Best result from the latest Fiama drilling was 26m at 1.5g/t Au and 0.09% Cu from 275m in drill hole 26XMDC096, including 3m at 2.2g/t Au and 0.10% Cu from 277m, plus 10m at 2.6g/t Au and 0.12% Cu from 290m.

Three drill rigs are turning across the Minyari Project; RC drilling is ongoing at Tim’s Dome, an air core rig is testing the 4km-long AL01 gold-copper corridor and diamond drilling is underway at the GEO-01 Main Zone. The Company’s Pre-feasibility Study is also progressing well. The combination of abundant exploration and PFS activities creating a newsflow rich horizon.

The Company has also been awarded $400,000 in Western Australian Government Exploration Incentive Scheme grants to co-fund drilling at Tim’s Dome and the Mollie target.

Antipa intends to follow up with more RC drilling across its Minyari prospects based on assay results, while also pursuing more discovery and resource growth programs across the broader project.
