The Australian - Antipa refines Telfer-style reef target at Tim’s Dome

Antipa Minerals has strengthened a Telfer-style reef target at Tim’s Dome after drilling intersected a broad gold-copper-lead-silver halo directly above a large, untested airborne electromagnetic conductor.

The latest batch of first phase 2026 assays covered 70 holes for 7781m across Tim’s Dome, GEO-01, Minyari Dome and AL01 – all part of Antipa’s Minyari gold-copper project in WA’s Paterson Province.

RC drilling at Tim’s Dome has traced mineralisation over about 500m of strike, with the system remaining open.

Beneath the mineralised halo lies a reef-style, bedding-parallel AEM conductor extending about 1.2km.

Excessive groundwater stopped the RC rig from reaching the conductor, but diamond tails from selected RC holes are set to begin by mid-August.

Maximum 1m RC grades in the latest results included 6.31g/t Au, 1.33% Cu, 1.84% Pb and 2.27g/t Ag.

AZY managing director and CEO Roger Mason said the results strengthened Antipa’s view of Tim’s Dome.

“Phase 1 drilling has considerably strengthened our internal view of the Tim’s Dome target,” Mason said.

He said the geological setting, metal mix and scale of the conductor supported Antipa’s view that drilling may be outlining the upper part of a larger Telfer-style reef system.

Tim’s Dome

Tim’s Dome is about 30km southwest of Antipa’s Minyari gold-copper development and 11km from Greatland Resources’ Telfer gold-copper mine and processing plant.

The deposit holds a 110,000oz gold resource and sits on the northwest strike extension of the Telfer host rocks and domal fold structure.

Antipa Minerals (ASX: AZY) says the stratigraphy at Tim’s Dome matches key mineralised domains at Telfer, including rock types linked to high-grade gold mineralisation.

The company has also identified potential monoclinal thrusts and cross-cutting feeder structures at Tim’s Dome.

For context, Antipa notes the oxidised and leached cap of the Telfer reef system has produced about 5Moz of gold from open-pit mining.

Reef target

The latest assays highlight the eastern fold limb at Tim’s Dome as the immediate target.

Before this year’s drilling, just nine RC holes tested 2.7km of strike along the eastern fold limb, opposite the western limb-hosted resource.

Notable results included 22m at 0.9g/t Au and 0.14% Cu from 157m in 26XTDC0051, including 3m at 4.4g/t Au and 0.05% Cu from 171m.

The same hole also returned an overlapping lead zone of 26m at 0.14% Cu and 0.22% Pb from 163m to end of hole.

Another hole, 26XTDC0052, returned 12m at 0.5g/t Au and 0.32% Cu from 186m, including 4m at 1.1g/t Au, 0.46% Cu and 1.1g/t Ag from 187m.

Antipa says the lead mineralisation is important because it can signal a distal signature for intrusion-related systems like Telfer.

AL01 anomaly

The company has also revealed a new discovery angle at AL01, 17km north of Minyari.

Wide-spaced aircore drilling has outlined a coherent 2km gold ± copper anomaly in the western part of the 4km AL01 corridor.

Results included 26m at 0.08g/t Au and 183ppm Cu from 12m in 26XTUA0031, and 39m at 0.05g/t Au and 185ppm Cu from 4m in 26XTUA0035.

The grades may be low, but the footprint appears large.

Antipa says follow-up RC drilling is warranted once outstanding aircore assays from AL01’s eastern and northern areas have been received and interpreted.

Minyari growth

The batch also delivered technical results at Minyari Dome.

At WACA, a geotechnical diamond hole returned 114m at 0.8g/t Au and 0.24% Cu from 7m, including 19m at 3.1g/t Au, 1.09% Cu and 1.1g/t Ag from 61m.

As the hole was drilled sub-parallel to mineralisation, Antipa cautions the downhole interval should not be taken as true width.

At GEO-01 South, drilling has extended mineralised lodes in several directions.

Results included 12m at 1.3g/t Au and 0.08% Cu from 141m in 26XMDC0979, including 5m at 2.9g/t Au7 and 0.14% Cu from 142m.

A further hit of 5m at 2.1g/t gold from 109m in 26XMDC0975 included 1m at 9.4g/t gold.

Next holes

Antipa’s Phase 1 CY2026 program is set to include 321 holes for 41,000m across aircore, RC and diamond drilling.

To date, 201 holes have been completed for 22,439m.

The program is targeting two outcomes: new regional gold-copper discoveries and growth of the existing Minyari Dome gold-copper deposits.

Drilling is ongoing at WACA, Tim’s Dome and Chicken Ranch.

Near-term work includes diamond drilling at WACA, RC and diamond drilling at Tim’s Dome, aircore drilling at Chicken Ranch, assay interpretation at AL01 and Yolanda, and potential follow-up RC drilling at AL01 and future diamond drilling at Mollie.
